Visual artist Keri Markart, a native New Yorker, has built a life, family and career in the Raleigh, North Carolina area for the past 20 years.
Her traditional acrylic, oil, and watercolor paintings have been exhibited at galleries for over 3 decades from eastern Long Island to Glenwood Avenue. She has been described as, “a talent both intriguing and captivating, conveying emotions through color and stroke… a feast for my eyes”.
Keri has explored her artistic expression in all things creative, from sculpture to photography before concentrating her future on neurographic intuitive art. She has developed a comprehensive method of non-clinical art therapy, blending creativity and science, with intentions to teach healthy methods to express emotions. "While the end result can be beautiful, what's really important is what happens in your mind and body while you are creating", she explains.
Her specialized Neurographic Intuitive Art classes are available through the Fuquay-Varina Art Center.
